Our massage therapist, Todd Thomas has over fourteen years of experience providing relaxation, pain relief, healing and restoration through the the varied techniques and specialized skills he has gained working in the field of massage therapy. Bryan Regar
Bryan Regar
DPT, OCS, COMT, CSCS, TPI

Bryan Regar is a licensed physical therapist who has been practicing for over fifteen years in Sarasota. In that time, he has acquired exceptional clinical skills working with professional athletes from the PGA, MLB and WTA. Through constant continuing education and training, Bryan has earned multiple clinical achievements including: board certified orthopedic specialist (OCS), Titleist Performance Institute medical professional (TPI), orthopedic manual therapist (COMT) and strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS).  These skill sets are unique to the region; allowing for optimal golf and other sports performance improvement programs.

Jennifer Regar is a licensed physical therapist and has been practicing in Sarasota for more than fifteen years. She received an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Florida and has since obtained both her Master's and Doctorate degrees in physical therapy from Nova Southeastern University. After working several years in hospital based and outpatient clinical settings, Jennifer launched Active4Life. Jennifer is also a Certified Health Coach, empowering her clients to make lasting lifestyle changes to achieve their personal health goals. Her combined education, experience and commitment to lifelong learning provides clients with fitness and physical therapy programs designed to get results!

Michelle has been teaching and practicing Pilates for well over a decade, and can be found instructing in her studio, Pilates Is A Workout, here at Studio South Fitness. She is a Pilates Method Alliance certified teacher, and is a Teacher Trainer for Classical Pilates Education. She trained for years with first generation classical instructors, then in 2005 became a certified instructor and later a Teacher Trainer through Power Pilates in NYC. Her extensive experience ranges from training beginners of all abilities and ages to teaching certification programs and continuing education to instructors.


Pilates puts emphasis on developing a strong and stable core through body alignment, effective breathing and mindful control of movement as a means to improve overall health and performance. At Studio South Fitness, we offer classically based mat classes, as well as the opportunity to take sessions at Pilates Is A Workout, a fully-equipped classical Pilates studio on site, owned and operated by Michelle Sibilia PMA -CPT. Pilates Is A Workout offers the finest in classical Pilates apparatus, featuring Pilates Designs by Basil.

Sports Performance

Designed with intense focus on developing the highest level of athletic performance, these individually tailored programs work with you to supercharge your abilities without risk of injury or overtraining.  Our personal trainers are qualified to work with athletes of all abilities and with a variety of unique goals.

Our Sports Performance programs are spearheaded by Vinnie Burns, our Director of Operations.  Seasoned in the sports performance field, Vinnie's experience includes seven years as IMG's head performance coach for soccer and earlier on tennis.  Vinnie has also as worked with USTA, NHL, NFL, MLB, eSports, MLS, NCAA and Olympic level athletes.

Vinnie has also served as the personal Strength and Fitness Consultant for hockey player Alex Ovechkin, who has led the NHL in goal scoring, and won the Rocket Richard Trophy, six times in his career.  Vinnie believes in developing a safe, scientifically sound program to systematically progress each athlete rapidly to achieve their specific goal

Listed below are the three key components to our Sports Performance development programs: 

  1. Addressing and eliminating weaknesses and imbalances.
  2. Improving and maximizing physical conditioning.
  3. Perfecting technique in the given sport.
